hp/compaq has fancy speakers that influence non-techs.

for real tech, get a toshiba, lenovo
(3 year warranty)

depend on how you use the compaq

Bad Points - Expensive to repair. They don’t use off the shelf components.

the only reason you buy compaq is there warranty thats the reason i buy compaq great world wide service
I have had a few Compaq laptops and there ok, the only thing I don’t care for is it’s proprietary equipment, you have to buy Compaq parts for it.
