How can I get iLife on my Powerbook with a broken cd rom?

    well, I think if you have a friend that has ilife you can do it by firewire. thats how I did mine

    Obtain access to another computer that has an optical drive (your desktop or another laptop). Map a network drive from your powerbook to the other computer and install iLife from the remote drive. When your done, un-map the drive and use the program. (On apple computers if I’m not mistaking mapping a network drive can be done somewhere in the network settings).
