This particular webcam has a subtle blue light when it is on - although I have downloaded the software it resolutely refuses to switch on. Has the cam broken (I used it on my old laptop the day before we set up the new laptop) or is it a problem with the type of laptop? I am totally at a loss any help greatly appreciated!

if the webcam is fairly old then the software may not be compatable with vista check on creatives website for vista compatable drivers
