   iBooks are a much older model, from before Apple switched to Intel processors. They do not have a large amount of software for them, you will not have a recent version of Flash, and you cannot install Windows with Boot Camp.

   the ibook is way older, the software is outdated. get the macbook its worth the money!

   The iBook has been out of production for two years.

   The MacBook uses a much newer and faster chip (Intel), and is a far more flexible machine.

   the macbook will be a lot faster, more up-do-date, and you will be able to run the latest version of Mac OS X (Leopard) it is also widescreen if that makes a difference.

   the ibook is the model before the macbook, but you want to go for the more newer ones, the macbook in other words, because if something goes wrong or you need to get something updated for an ibook, you will be very limited to items and help due to the fact that there really isn’t anything out there for an ibook in the last 3-4 years. Now with a macbook, its always up to date on stuff and they keep putting out better models every 6-8 months to a year. So my best bet, go for the macbook.
